MISS LISA Lisa's dusky, soulful voice resonates with a Deep BLUES edge, while
shades of ROCK blend with echoes of MEMPHIS magic.
LISA began performing in her teens, touring up and
down the EAST COAST. Taking cues from the likes of BONNIE RAITT, JANIS JOPLIN, SHERYL CROW, ETTA JAMES, EVA CASSIDY and SUSAN
TEDESCHI , LISA has forged her own sound, style and stage presence that brings crowds to their feet and onto the dance
floor. Her beautiful voice is what sets us apart from all the others. Lisa is the featured vocalist of the Mojo Filter Acoustic
Duo

LITTLE LEO FROM CLEVELAND (Guitar/Harmonica/Vocals)
LEO was born and raised in the hometown of Rock 'n' Roll, Cleveland,
Ohio. While still a teenager, he shared the stage with national acts THE
BOX TOPS and THE JAMES GANG. Greatly influenced by blues guitarists BUDDY GUY, ALBERT KING, OTIS RUSH and STEVE CROPPER,
LEO is steeped in
the traditions of Rhythm & Blues, Soul and Gospel, having played for years in venues ranging from country honky-tonks
to inner city Gospel churches. Leo not only plays some of the best guitar you'll hear in this area, but he also blows a mean
"Mississippi Sax" (harmonica) and sings, too.

MICHAEL
POPOFF has been playing drums since
he first heard Gene Krupa on old Benny Goodman records...and figured out that girls like drummers! During the ensuing years
of intense study and practice in the Art Of Beating The Hell Out Of Inanimate Objects, MICHAEL has played with central New
York greats HERB WILLIAMS & NIGHTSHADE, MARCIA HAGAN and ROOSEVELT DEAN & THE SPELLBINDERS.
Michael has toured throughout the East and
South, with stops in Nashville
and Memphis, appearing with many national acts including SON
SEALS and INDIGENOUS. His drumming meshes with Bob's bass playing to create a rhythm section that pushes LISA & MOJO
FILTER's music off the stage and pulls the audience onto the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG

BOB PURDY has been a bass man for over 40 years playing everything
from Rock to Bluegrass, country to swing, but his heart has always been based in Rhythm and Blues with a strong emphasis on
the blues. Holding down the bottom end with The
Roosevelt Dean band for several years, recording with Rosie’s band and winning SAMMY honors for best Syracuse area
blues band, Bob has enjoyed playing with the best musicians in the Syracuse area. Bob is thrilled to bring his funky
chops to Lisa and Mojo Filter.
Individually, these are some of the most talented musicians in the area. Collectively,
they simmer like ingredients in a spicy MOJO stew.
